“Remote Control” is a contest where creators can win an opportunity to gain global exposure and have their artwork showcased on one of the world’s largest billboard in iconic Times Square, New York!

Creators submit one or more pieces of artwork. Collectors vote by claiming free mints.

The more mints a creator has, the better their chances of winning a featured spot on the Times Square billboard.

• Collectors can start voting for their favorite artwork and creators by claiming free open editions of artwork submitted by creators

Monday, July 22 // Voting Ends

• Contest voting (open edition free claims) closes at 11:59pm PDT
• Top 5 creators from the two contest groups (10 total creators) confirmed as winners
• The additional winning creators selected by our curation partners will be announced to X (formerly Twitter) shortly after contest voting closes

It takes a lot of power to change the channel on one of the world’s largest billboard to beautiful artwork!

Remote Control tokens (ERC-1155) are the powerful channel changers that creators redeem when submitting their artwork to the contest.

Collectors do not need to hold any Remote Control tokens to vote for their favorite artwork and creator.

For each contest submission, creators will need to redeem seven (7) Remote Control tokens.

There are 3 ways to get Remote Control tokens:

1. Claim for free + 0.000777 ETH (~$3) protocol fee per Remote Control token
2. Airdrop from our curators and partner communities. Follow us on X (formerly Twitter) @SuperchiefNFT to learn which partners are providing Remote Control tokens to their community.
3. Engage with our X posts for a chance to win daily Remote Control token giveaways for you and two of your fellow creators

Artwork can be submitted to the contest using the Creator Profile on the Remote Control site.

Each submission to the contest becomes a limited time open edition on Zora network, available until the end of the contest on Monday, July 22.

The open editions can be claimed for free + 0.000777 ETH (~3) protocol fee.

Every free claim mint counts as one vote towards the creator of the artwork.

Yes! At the top right nav on the Remote Controls site, use the Connect button to get started.

If you don’t have a Web3 Wallet, you can enter your email address and a wallet will be created for you.

Once connected, you can use that wallet to collect free claim open editions to vote for your favorite creator, or even claim Remote Control tokens and submit artwork to the contest.

Cryptocurrency in the form of ETH on Zora network as well as credit card can be used to pay the small protocol fee for the free claims.

Here are a couple recommended options to bridge ETH you already have in your wallet from Ethereum mainnet to Zora network:

2. Use the bridge to deposit ETH funds from Ethereum mainnet to Zora network

1. Go to https://relay.link/bridge/zora
2. Another great option for instantly bridging ETH funds from Etheruem mainnet (or several other networks) to Zora network
3. After connecting your wallet, select the network you want to move ETH from (ex. Ethereum) and bridge it to Zora network

When connecting your wallet to the Remote Control site and signing-in, or to claim Remote Control tokens or claim free open editions from creators, you will be asked to switch your wallet network to Zora.

If you need to, you can manually select Zora network from your wallet (ex: MetaMask), usually by clicking the network drop-down and choosing Zora.

YES! Creators can submit one or more pieces of artwork to the contest, at any point between the start of submissions on Tuesday, June 25 and the end of the contest on Monday, July 22

Votes are summed up across all the creator’s submissions and counted toward their leaderboard standing in the contest.

So the more artwork creators submit for collectors to mint, the more votes they can earn!

To provide a fair opportunity to highlight a wide range of creators, there are 3 ways to win:

1. Finish Top 5 in the group of creators with +10k followers on X (formerly Twitter)
2. Finish Top 5 in the group of creators with less than 10k followers on X
3. Be chosen as a featured creator by one of our curation partners. As long as you have at least one submission and one vote, you’re in the running!

To be eligible for winning the contest, creators will need to connect their X account to the Remote Control site.

When you set up your Creator Profile on the Remote Control site, you’ll be able to link your X account to verify your profile, and be eligible to win the contest.

You’ll also be able to promote your artwork submissions and Creator Profile to encourage votes from Collectors.

You can monitor your position on the leaderboard, updated in real-time, showing total votes across all your submissions.

Yes, the protocol fee allows us to manifest sustainable showcases highlighting amazing creators, do giveaways of Remote Control tokens for creators to use for submitting artwork, as well as directly support creators with protocol rewards.

For each Remote Control token and free claim open edition minted, there is a 0.000777 ETH (~$3) protocol fee.

Rewards split 50% directly to creators for each of their free claim open editions minted:

Yes. We do not censor any artwork on the site. Winning artwork may need to be censored for display in Times Square. If censoring isn’t possible, you can choose another submitted piece that meets requirements appropriate for displaying in a large public space.

Having your artwork displayed on one of the largest billboards in the world in Times Square for an entire week provides unparalleled visibility and recognition.

It’s a unique opportunity to reach a massive, diverse audience of hundreds of thousands of people daily.

Creators are also able to experience something universally known, giant billboards in Times Square, NYC - to check that off the bucket list, participate in a global community event, and potentially generate revenue while participating in a project that has the so much of the NFT Art community’s attention and participation. It's also FUN. Remember FUN?

• Top 10 Winning Creator's Artwork & Curated Winners will be displayed once per hour, 18 hours per day, for Seven Days in a row, playing 126 times! (Give or take)
• That's around 20 minutes of exposure in one of the highest trafficked places in the world
